Alex Pandian is a Tamil action comedy film and directed by Suraj that features Karthi and Anushka Shetty in the lead roles. Santhanam, Milind Soman, Suman, Prathap Pothen and Nikita Thukral among others play pivotal supporting roles. It was released on 11 January 2013. The movie was reported to be based on the 2008 French movie Transporter 3.

Mirchi is a Telugu action drama film written and directed by debutante Koratala Siva and produced by Prabhas's brother Pramod Uppalapati and V. Vamsi Krishna Reddy under UV Creations banner. The film stars Prabhas, Anushka Shetty and Richa Gangopadhyay in the lead roles. The film was released on 8 February 2013.

Singam II is a Tamil action thriller film written and directed by Hari. A sequel to the 2010 film Singam and the second installment in the Singam film series, the film stars Suriya, who reprises the title role, along with Anushka Shetty, Hansika Motwani, Vivek and Santhanam in supporting roles. The film was released on 5 July 2013.

Irandaam Ulagam is a Tamil romantic fantasy action film written and directed by Selvaraghavan. Starring Arya and Anushka Shetty. the film was released worldwide on 22 November 2013.

Lingaa is a Tamil language action drama film written and directed by K.S. Ravikumar. The film was produced by Rockline Venkatesh under Rockline Entertainment. The film's script was written by Pon Kumaran. The film stars Rajinikanth, Anushka Shetty and Sonakshi Sinha in the lead roles. The film was released on 12 December 2014.
