Enthiran (Robot) is a Tamil-language science fiction film directed by S. Shankar and co-written by him along with Sujatha Rangarajan. The film stars Rajinikanth and Aishwarya Rai in lead roles. The soundtrack album and background score were composed by A. R. Rahman. The film was released on 1st October 2010 along with its dubbed versions: Robot in Hindi and Robo in Telugu. it was India's most expensive film up to that point. Enthiran emerged as the top-earning Indian film of 2010 and is the fourth highest-grossing South Indian film of all time. It won two Indian National Film Awards.

Action Replayy is a science fiction romantic comedy film directed by Vipul Shah and starring Akshay Kumar and Aishwarya Rai in the lead roles. Aditya Roy Kapoor, Neha Dhupia, Om Puri, Kirron Kher and Rajpal Yadav play supporting roles in the film. The plot is loosely based on the 1985 film Back to the Future. Director Vipul Shah however insists that it is an adaptation of a Gujarati play of the same name and by H. G. Wells' The Time Machine. The film was released on November 5, 2010
