Ayub Bachchu and LRB

Ayub Bachchu
Musician

Ayub Bachchu was born in Chittagong in Patiya at Khorna union on 16 August 1962. He got his first acoustic guitar from his father as a gift in 1973, when he was in class four. He was admitted to Government Muslim High School in 1975.
While studying in high school, Bachchu formed a band named "Golden Boys", which was later renamed as "Ugly Boys". Kumar Bishwajit was the lead singer of the band, while Bachchu was the guitarist.
Bachchu joined the rock band Feelings (now known as Nagar Baul) in mid-1977 only for two years as a lead guitarist after conversation with James.
He joined Souls in early-1980 and played with the band for next 10 years as the lead guitarist, songwriter and occasional singer. He left Souls in the late-1990.
Bachchu came to Dhaka in 1991 and in January he married Ferdous Chandana on 31 January, 1991, with whom he had a relationship since 1986.
He formed a band named Yellow River Band in April 5, 1991. When they were performing in a club in the mid-1991, they were mistakenly called the Little River Band. Bachchu liked the name and officially named his band. Due to the same name of an Australian rock band, they changed their name to Love Runs Blind in 1997.

Once, Ayub Bachchu went to a shop of musical instruments in Japan. But, the owner of the shop was paying least heed to him. Bachchu took permission from him to play one of the guitars and then, he started playing Jimi Hendrix, Knopfler, Santana and Eric Clapton. A number of music-lovers crowded in front of the shop to listen to him. He ended up playing the national anthem of Bangladesh. The owner, enchanted by Ayub Bachchu's tunes of guitar, requested him to take at least one guitar from his shop.

Ayub Bachchu died of cardiac failure in Dhaka on 18th October 2018 at the age of 56.

With These Hands - Eddie Fisher

With These Hands

Music written by: Abner Silver
Lyrics written by: Benny Davis
Comments: Inspired by the documentary film "With These Hands", produced by the International Ladies Garment Workers Union and released on June 15, 1950. Featuring several well-known Broadway actors, the movie recreates the Triangle Fire of 1911 and compares the working conditions of the 1910's with those of the 1950's.

With These Hands Lyrics

With these hands, I will cling to you
I'm yours forever and a day
With these hands, I will bring to you
A tender love as warm as May

With this heart, I will sing to you
Long after stars have lost their glow
And with these hands, I'll provide for you
Should there be a stormy sea
I'll turn the tide for you
And I'll never
No one never let you go

With these hands, I'll provide for you
Should there be a stormy sea
I'll turn the tide for you
And I'll never
No one never let you go

I’ve been had a seems to let them be

Now I’m sad (too much lovin’)
Its true (too much lovin’)
So bad (too much lovin’)
So blue (too much lovin’)
Nothing (too much lovin’)
I can do (too much lovin’)
I am just (too much lovin’)
About through (too much lovin’)

Baby you’re wrong with me

Baby, baby, baby, baby, baby
Please forgive me this time
Don’t ever feel in my body
I only have in my mind

Now I’m sad (too much lovin’)
Its true (too much lovin’)
So bad (too much lovin’)
So blue (too much lovin’)
Nothing (too much lovin’)
I can do (too much lovin’)
I am just (too much lovin’)
About through (too much lovin’)

And now has the matter with me

This Orchid Means Goodbye - Carl Smith

This Orchid Means Goodbye

This Orchid Means Goodbye Lyrics

Tonight I send an orchid
And though I'll always care
This orchid means goodbye to you
And to our love affair

It's just my way to tell you
And I hope that you want cry
But I belong to someone else
This orchid means goodbye

When you said that you loved me
I knew it wouldn't do
Cause I'm in love with someone else
I guess I love you too
But I'm married to another
What chance of you and I
So I just send this orchid, dear
This orchid, means goodbye

Our love might have been different
But I made sacred vows
And I can't ever break the heart
That I hold with mine, now

So please forget the past dear
As time goes passing by
Cause we can't ever love again
This orchid means goodbye

There Stands the Glass - Webb Pierce

There Stands the Glass

Written by: Audrey Grisham, Mary Jean Shurtz, Russ E. Hull

There Stands the Glass Lyrics

There stands the glass
That will ease all my pain
That will settle my brain
It's my first one today

There stands the glass
That will hide all my tears
That will drown all my fear
Brother I'm on my way

I'm wondering where you are tonight
I'm wondering if you are all right
I wonder if you think of me
In my misery

There stands the glass
Fill it up to the brim
Till my troubles grow dim
It's my first one today

That's Me without You - Webb Pierce

That's Me without You

Written by: J.D. Miller

That's Me without You Lyrics

A night with no moonlight, a day with no sun
A plane with no pilot, a watch that won't run
A tree with no branches, a rose with no dew
A boy with no sweetheart, that's me without you

A train with no whistle, a car with no gas
A well with no water, a show with no cast
A love with no future, a sky with no blue
A boy with no sweetheart, that's me without you

A bank with no money, a top that won't spin
A book with no story, a love I can't win
A chair with no bottom, a rig with no crew
A song with no music, that's me without you

A train with no whistle, a car with no gas
A well with no water, a show with no cast
A court with no jury, a church with no pew
A boy with no sweetheart, that's me without you

Tell Me a Story - Frankie Laine

Tell Me a Story

Tell Me a Story Lyrics

Tell me a story, tell me a story
Tell me a story, remember what you said
You promised me you said you would
You got to give in so I'll be good
Tell me a story, then I'll go to bed

Oh, worry, worry, weary ends my day
Comes the time to go home without my raise in pay
Home by the fire where a man can just relax
Slippers there by the chair, not a worry, not a care
Along comes Junior swinging his little axe

Tell me a story, tell me a story
Tell me a story, remember what you said
Tell me about the birds and bees
How do you make a chicken sneeze
Tell me a story, then I'll go to bed

Came home so late one evening last July
Played a little poker the time had passed me by
Shoes in my hand and my darlin' wife in bed
Up the stairs sayin' a prayer
Then a voice comes through the air...

Hi you there, Daddy
Remember what you said

Tell me a story, tell me a story
Tell me a story, remember what you said
Tell me how your eye got black
Because the doorway hit your back
Tell me a story, then I'll go to bed

Once upon a time I remember long ago

Don't go back in history
Your memory's kinda slow

Stop your noisy talkin'
Until I finish with my tale
Once upon a...

Upon a what...

Upon your back you'll get a swat

Tell me about the fish you caught
That's was bigger than a whale

Tell me a story, tell me a story
Tell me a story, remember what you said
You promised me, you said you would
You gotta give in so I'll be good

Here's a tale you'll never forget

Ouch
My tails all red

And now get up to bed

Ha, ha come on Daddy
Tell me a story
Hee, hee
